@YeheLiu I’m not familiar with the literature but are there better metrics? I was looking at rendered images past few days and at least as an outsider I dont have a lot of confidence in psnr.. issues just like what you pointed out, visually pleasing but low metric, and vice-versa

@sruj_d just use a stack of metrics if you are concerned. psnr + ssim + lpips + whatever neural perceptual metrics you want to add
