Apple Shortcuts reportedly can now auto-build iPhone automations from plain-language prompts in iOS 27

PCMag reports that Apple is making the Shortcuts app easier to use by letting people describe the automation they want in plain language and having Apple Intelligence generate it automatically in iOS 27. The publication frames that shift as a way to “vibe code” shortcuts on an iPhone. PCMag also notes that Shortcuts already offers a large library of existing automations and tools to create and run your own across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
