I wish I could be excited but honestly so much in codex just feels SO much worse these days. Like even simple questions like "can this be done" it'll take 5 minutes running in circles just to respond with some bloated response like "no, not unless you do this or that or these things". As opposed to simply "yeah, it can be done". So often it feels like it just goes out of its way to use more tokens to do stuff for no reason at all really, even on lower reasonings and pragmatic response settings. Never happened until the old "codex" models were removed either and we had to use 5.4 or 5.5
