today i wake up to a simple oura dashboard
in a few years there will be a whole team of AIs monitoring all this data about me in real time
talking amongst themselves, deciding what i should do next, then relaying it back to me
inside out style
Wearable APIs expose deeper datasets than standard consumer apps.

Positive users highlight productivity gains and personal timelines from AI agents monitoring Oura health data like in Inside Out, while negative users dread losing autonomy over daily choices such as workouts.
No Digg Deeper questions have been answered for this story yet.
I was not a wearables person pre-AI, but have been fully converted
Agents acting on body/activity context is huge - order supplements, schedule a workout, etc.
APIs for products like Oura also often have more data than exposed in-app…you can vibe code any dashboard you want!

@AnjneyMidha @tomo

💯
I've built and lived with a first version of this for a few months.
It collates data from Oura and other sources into a rich timeline of my life, with tools for agents to discover patterns; track hypotheses; ask me to fill in gaps; proactively suggest behaviors; and so on.
It's helped change a few behaviors considerably and I'll post bloodwork in a couple of months to show it.
Everything on the tech side is ready today. The main impediments to mass adoption are privacy, hardware and packaging.

@AnjneyMidha What is an equivalent of this for running a business?

@AnjneyMidha Are there any open source versions of this hardware available in the market?

@AnjneyMidha im going to cherish every chest day on a 59 readiness score til oura is in my head and actually doesnt let me

@AnjneyMidha Being ensouled is usually a blocker to this development

In few years they will collect passively your live emotional, attentional and cognitive state to know you better, predict and check what, how, when you want, to train your private model and skew what and how they do yo help you achieve your goals. They will update your cognitive counterpart that will do less strategic but more broad task like reading all today's arxiv papers, startup news, prediction markets etc They will keep each of your "faced" the family one the boss, coworker, friend the curious child that will check how each views the info gathered, your state, schedule, goals and interpretating your reactions not only what they were but why and should they be this way, is this what your long term goals wanted, why this way.
As it is nice for health on few levels it's even better for company where key stakeholders POV can be live added (simulated) to every meeting, where before board meeting all the faces of all the people can have year worth of discussions, research, simulations etc all prepared for real meeting with potential arguments already predicted and dismantled...
We have already seen portions of that and it will only get weirder

Fun fact from older research I did, people have their attention spans on order of minutes and whenever they would put larger effort for minute or two they need to rest near as long where they won't attend as efficiently - it can be shown that people don't perciew that and it seems such proceses operate on multiple timescales meaning that with such info we all could be much more efficient in meetings, work etc as we suck at introspection but tech can give it to us

@AnjneyMidha Joy at the console going ‘we don’t say tired here’, we say ‘restoratively challenged’ 😌

@AnjneyMidha Honestly insane. My sleep score drops and five agents start arguing in my head. Which one is Joy and which one hallucinated the magnesium?
