not optimistic tbh, and I genuinely doubt China catches Dario. geniuses are racing to join Anthropic while his ambition dwarfs every other AI lab leader China's leadership dreams of bumping GDP a few points, meanwhile Dario is assembling something closer to a Phantom Troupe out of HxH. raw talent, unhinged ambition, and a cult willing to sacrifice everything even himself to reach the goal.

Name one project that changed history and was done by "ordinary people." Manhattan Project, Apollo, the invention of the internet all required an insane concentration of genius to hit the goal. We're not in an anime where nice ordinary people win through heart. Reality says the smartest concentration wins.
