@OpenAI We'll aim to be a bit different in how we allocate funding. We'll try new things, listen, and learn as we go.
We particularly want to find places where each dollar makes the biggest difference. Think high-impact areas that are chronically underfunded. We'd like to fund those.
@OpenAI Open-source needs funding — I know this first hand from working on cargo-semver-checks.
I still lovingly work on it on nights and weekends, but "full-time OSS maintainer" ultimately didn't work out for me. I look forward to helping carve out those opportunities for others!
