Inc42 reports that Ola Electric has approved a fundraise of up to ₹1,500 crore as it invests in EVs, battery cells and energy storage while trying to revive sales and cut losses. The publisher says Ola’s Q1 FY27 net loss narrowed 22% to ₹336 crore, but operating revenue fell 45% to ₹455 crore. Inc42 also reports that August 2026 electric two-wheeler registrations fell 7.7% month over month to 13,132 units, even as Ola’s market share rose to 7.6%.
