He's been building me a kanban for weeks.

The Hermes Agent Kanban just got a big automation upgrade.

Drop one prompt into the triage, and the orchestrator agent can take it from there - decomposing it into all the subtasks necessary and automatically assigning agent profiles that fit the specialization needed.

You can also now add descriptions for each agent profile, to better assist the orchestrator in determining what tasks should go to which profile!

I love the idea of Kanban but its very very badly designed! I can't use it as it is. the cards and content is (to me) unreadable! There should be better theme and font control. Having all capital and this way of presenting the result...well just look at the image.... Love hermes but kanban to me is the weakest feature with the UI.

This is really interesting! I'm building an agent-agnostic Kanban that lets you freely combine different LLMs.

You can mix Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, and any other model, all in the same board.

I can ask Claude Code or Codex to add new cards, change statuses, enrich them, investigate, solve, or test tasks. I’ve also added linked documents (.md) to give the agents better context.

- Fully local (SQLite only) - Local CLI for agents + SKILL - No external APIs / services needed

Building it for fun, but mainly because I needed a more practical and flexible workflow.

Do you think there’s a market for something like this?

@Teknium I thought it uses this kanban board by default when it says it will create these todo and it starts working on those.. I mean if there was some config which enables just that you know... All tasks it did auto update in a kanban board based on that session id 🥺🥺🥺

Random suggestion for Hermes Agent: a Chrome extension that bridges the browser with the Hermes terminal.

The idea would be to let Hermes use the active tab as context, interact with pages only with user permission, and send results back to the terminal. Basically less copy/paste between browser and CLI, more fluid agent workflows.

Maybe this is already on the roadmap, but I think it could be a really useful UX layer.

@Teknium I'm excited to try this properly. I dropped a task into Kanban on the weekend but nothing happened. Lol. Obviously I don't know how to use it but I'm sure I will unlock that knowledge soon. Otherwise Hermes is incredible as a daily ecommerce ops driver.
