State of Unreal's update on the Epic Games Store. In December, the store hit a record of 78 million monthly active users. Revenue in 2025 was $1.16 billion player spend, up 6% on third-party and 1st party games.
3rd party-only spending in 2026 hit $400 million. There are 6,000 games in the catalog and 3,000 partners.
Developers keep 100% of net revenue on the first $1 million in net revenue per product per year. After that, devs pay a 12% royalty to Epic.
Epic First Run means devs keep 100% of revenue on the first six months before launching on other stores. Launch Everywhere with Epic lowers the royalty from 5% to 3.5% with sim ship in the store.
And players get 5% back in rewards on third-party content purchases.
