I was in 314 11th and the connected (at the time) 1515 folsom.
Enjoy. Obviously depends on size, buying or renting, ability to secure the licenses, permits, and location… but a few million should get you off the ground. If you can hire the right staff and lawyers, that will be costly, but worth it.
It is a long road… once you start, it doesn’t end. Much different crowd and experience than the tech world. It sounds fun on paper, but I personally wouldn’t recommend it. Clubs in SF are like viruses and there are white blood cells coming after you from all directions. SF doesn’t want you there.
We had a shooting in the club. Kid survived. I had no involvement or could have prevented it. It was a previous drug deal gone wrong. Kid was a felon from San Quentin. Found an ambulance chaser lawyer who was awful. Took about 10 years. 3 full juries. Finally ended when the lawyer slipped and fell and couldn’t work anymore.
