Meta acquires AI data platform Sundial

Sundial co-founder Julie Zhuo announced that Meta has acquired the AI-powered data analytics company and that she, Chandra Narayanan and other team members are joining Meta. Axios reports Sundial will be folded into Meta's new data analytics organization, Narayanan will lead Meta's data analytics tooling and agents work, and Sundial will stop serving external customers when the deal closes. Axios says Sundial's platform lets businesses get analysis by asking questions in natural language.
