Multiple Google Cloud services experienced elevated errors and intermittent network failures in the London region on Oct. 20, according to a status notice quoted by The Register. Emma and Synapse each said they were down due to a Google Cloud outage affecting London services. Reuters, citing a person familiar with the matter, linked Revolut's outage to the disruption. Google later attributed its zone outage to a power event that it said was mitigated.
