Tom's Hardware reports a cybersecurity bounty hunter's claim that Samsung TVs use AI to record audio and screenshots for ad targeting. The account also alleges tracking of skipped ads and use of connected soundbars as makeshift microphones. TechRadar calls the privacy claims worrying but says the report doesn't look like a scandal on its face, noting that Samsung has advertised listening for babies and dogs.
