Semafor reports, citing people familiar with the matter, that DoorDash is in exclusive talks to acquire Instacart. The talks could fall apart, and Semafor could not determine the price or structure under discussion. A deal would combine Instacart’s grocery-focused platform with DoorDash’s restaurant-focused service. Instacart declined to comment; DoorDash did not immediately respond.
