DoorDash agrees to buy Grubhub Campus Dining for $300 million
The deal with Wonder covers a campus ordering service used at more than 450 colleges. DoorDash is also investing $125 million in Wonder.
DoorDash announced the agreement on September 15. Grubhub Campus Dining, formerly Tapingo, lets students order meals, use campus dining dollars and schedule pickup. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory review and other conditions. DoorDash separately invested $125 million in Wonder’s Series D round.
