POCO X8s reportedly planned for selected global markets

XimiTime reports that Xiaomi is preparing a POCO X8s for selected markets under global model number 2609CPC5FG and Chinese model number M583CF. The publication interprets the “2609” code as pointing to a September 2026 launch window and says the phone may be sold under the Redmi brand in China. It also reports a 50-megapixel main camera, ultrawide coverage and 2.5x zoom. Xiaomi has not formally announced the device, and the processor, launch date, pricing and full specification sheet remain unconfirmed.
