Anthropic announces Claude Duet, an AI agent for professionals and small business owners

The Verge reports that Anthropic says Duet can brief users on connected apps, flag items needing attention and handle tasks from scheduling to building dashboards. Anthropic says it asks for approval before major actions, such as sending payments, and warns the early version may misread threads or misjudge what’s urgent. US Pro and Max subscribers can join a waitlist to use the agent on iOS, Android or Claude on the web.
