Thailand asks operators to pause 49 data center buildouts, Tom's Hardware reports
Compliance with the requested pause is voluntary, but proceeding may risk additional bureaucracy, Tom's Hardware says.
TLDR
Tom's Hardware reports that Thailand has asked data center operators to suspend 49 buildouts until a legal framework is complete. The publisher says new legislation is supposed to create 'airtight' requirements for large-scale data centers. Compliance with the pause is voluntary, but moving ahead may risk additional bureaucracy, according to the report.
