Model-copying effort allegedly exposed Chinese state and military data to Anthropic

A post alleges that an effort to copy an American AI model exposed Chinese state and military data to Anthropic. It says the traffic included surveillance material from a user Anthropic suspects is affiliated with China’s People’s Liberation Army, login credentials from engineers at major Chinese state-owned enterprises, data from police case-management systems and internal details of Chinese AI projects.
