Internet-exposed AI infrastructure reportedly grew 63% in nine months

Axios reports that Censys counted nearly 268,000 internet-facing systems running 44 AI-related products in July 2026, up from roughly 164,000 in October 2025. Nearly 114,000 were n8n deployments; roughly 77,000 ran versions affected by at least one recently disclosed critical vulnerability. Censys also found more than 54,000 exposed OpenClaw control panels. The findings do not establish whether the deployments are actually vulnerable to exploitation.
