Writer Apologizes For Popularizing Overused VC Tech Morality Essays
Will Manidis joked on X that he helped popularize the history-heavy essay style now cranked out by venture funds, and Jeff Huber replied with a blunt suggestion: move on.
In a post on X, ScienceIO founder Will Manidis wrote that he feels "profound moral culpability" for pioneering the essay format that turns historical anecdotes into lessons about technology and morality, then joked that venture funds now pump it out through "industrial slop canons." In a reply on X, Jeff Huber answered, "time for a new format."
