@Noahpinion I have always argued that China is trying to destroy western industries like we did to Nazi Germany. With the obvious difference that the US bombed German factories out of existence. While China uses various economic attacks.

Europe is a prime customer. Russia is a vassal state supplying oil and minerals. Yes, China could trigger a catastrophic collapse of Europe, but it wouldn't be in their economic interest. OTOH, they also don't want the chaos next door that would result if Russia collapsed so they dribble out supplies to both sides (and extract profits)

Russia can fire Zircons at the NATO fleet and see if that has any impact on changing NATO's minds on the 3-man mortar team employing the maritime blockade. If it doesn't, then more missiles are fired at other valuable targets. Is NATO as committed to its blockade as Iran?

Why does Russia need to control more than 19% of Ukraine in order to destroy NATO weapons?

The winner in of this prolonged war between NATO and Russia is based on which side has the strongest industrial base.

A country must either have the manufacturing capacity to build massive quantities of ammunition or have other manufacturing industries that can be rapidly converted to ammunition production.

The West no longer seems to have either. Russia is winning.

Widest point in Kattegat is 10km. A 3 man mortar team could close that strait.
