I’ve been thinking about this a lot while teaching AI engineering: the next big unlock isn’t just better generation quality….it’s closing the loop between generation and interaction. When that happens, we move from “watch this AI video” to “live inside the AI-generated world.” https://x.com/Scobleizer/status/2075817704947126626/video/1
Of course, we’re still early. Coherence over long sequences, precise control, multimodal understanding, and consistent physics/characters are all hard problems that aren’t solved yet. But the trajectory is clear. The teams that figure out real-time interaction with video models will change how we think about games and entertainment.
@Scobleizer I'd play it. The magic stays intact. Real unlock: closing the loop between generation and interaction. Lower barriers for creators, but precise authored control remains the hard problem. v/ #AIGaming Cc
@Scobleizer As long as my character doesn't melt into nightmare fuel mid boss fight, I'm in. Latency and control matter way more than visual fidelity.
@Scobleizer This tracks with what I have been seeing. The gap between narrative and reality keeps widening.
Imagine a game where the environment, characters, or even entire scenes can evolve based on player input — in real time. Or a livestream where AI helps co-create the experience with the audience. Or creator tools that let you build rich worlds without a massive team. https://x.com/Scobleizer/status/2075817585132613997/video/1
