you want to get familiar with hydrogen flames carefully. they are almost invisible. luckily, sodium lights it up just great, as you can see. so that's good for getting familiar. the real danger is an unstart -- a flame out and then filling a hot chamber with an explosive mixture anyway i have been a little scaredy cat with the ultra high temperature hydrogen oxygen combustion but i think it will be totally manageable! to avoid detonations and stay pretty
