GM introduces picture-in-picture phone projection for Silverado and Sierra trucks

The Verge reports that GM’s new interface for Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks includes picture-in-picture phone projection for the first time. Ars Technica says the new look debuts in the 2027 models. Engadget describes a split-screen solution for CarPlay and Android Auto, saying it should keep those systems from hogging all the important screen space.
