The Information reports that thousands of Chinese token resellers give AI labs unauthorized access to Anthropic’s Claude, helping them distill U.S. models. It says Anthropic’s crackdown is pushing the labs toward shell companies and other workarounds. An occupant of one Beijing office building told the outlet that six of its roughly 30 tenants sell access to Claude to Chinese customers.
