@bscholl Rivian, BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, they all have better EVs now or on sale soon.

Elon doesn't care at all about selling a few more Teslas.

But Tesla is mostly it's 70,000 employees in the US, many of them working to build the batteries and cars we buy. They have jobs because we buy Teslas.

Do you really care about elon getting a couple dollars richer enough to not support 70,000 US workers building the best (and safest) cars in the world?
