Users Mock Fomo Over Hypothetical GPT-5.6 Early Access
A parody OpenAI screenshot became a small X joke about AI status anxiety and the strange prestige of getting model access before everyone else.

He framed the bit as a familiar kind of developer envy, writing that it made him feel like a "low taste model user" for missing out. The earlier post, "when gpt 5.6 sol please", makes clear the model itself is part of the joke.

@eliebakouch do you get upset when athletes get early shoe releases too spokespeople gonna spoke. almost none of them are disclosing their conflicts so fair enough to say they exist openai has like 5k employees they in no way need outside testers who conveniently have large x followings
