TLDR

A customer dealing with a Stripe chargeback says its support team sent emails of 400-plus words with oddly personal touches. They say Pangram called the emails a mix of human and AI. They would prefer a shorter email from a person or bullet points from an AI that didn't pretend.

@alexrkonradBeen dealing with an annoying chargeback situation with my payments processor, Stripe. (A long story involving a wrong email, an attempt by the reader to withdraw the dispute, etc.) Stripe customer support has been responding by sending these really long emails (400+ words) interspersed with oddly personal touches. Pangram says they're a mix of human and AI. (See if you can spot the AI phrases in the excerpt below!) Feels like the worst of both worlds to me. I would prefer a much shorter email from a human, or bullet points from an AI that didn't pretend.
