Multiple Claude-written articles with 10k+ likes here recently. People seem to really like slop on Substack too. Reluctant conclusion: maybe the taste for organic hand rolled human only tokens will become a niche IQ taste similar to enjoying Japanese wood carvings or something.

@nabeelqu ,,,, but do you (vs the masses)? I find myself rarely reading anything AI written. Not because of AI, I would be happy to read them, but in general they seem somewhat more soulless and uninsightful
@sebkrier @nabeelqu It's true. It's also easy to forget how much the internet has already been having this effect on writing. LLMs are just accelerating the dilution process started by mass self-publishing.

people passing off 100 percent AI slop as their own do not care about any of that 😔
