the matrix was close to accurate but it got a few things wrong in its retelling. (god can you imagine how many versions of this era we are going to get) it wasn’t built to distract humans being used as batteries… it was an open-ended RL environment that superseded fixed corpus pretraining. Some humans were allowed to take refuge in it tho famously others ended that
