His goal was to sow fear among his customers that model companies would ingest their data then copy their business-the Microsoft model. He positioned Palantir as the trusted intermediary to safeguard against this.
His argument probably has some merit.

The whole thing is the hype around just continuously expanding marginal gains and multiplying cost seems to be failing and many trillions have been spent. AI is now multiple times expensive compared to the humans in tbe same role albeit making tons of mistakes. So now this is new trick

the multitude point matters most for pricing power and resilience. if the frontier collapses to two or three providers, everything built on top inherits monopoly rents and single points of failure. same logic drives the country level push for sovereign capability instead of renting it.
