Cloudflare fixes cross-tenant data exposure flaw in Containers and Sandboxes
Reused storage blocks could reveal remnants from another customer's container, but Cloudflare found no evidence of malicious exploitation.
TLDR
Cloudflare has fixed a Containers and Sandboxes vulnerability that could let a Workers Paid customer recover residual data from another customer's container on the same physical host. Reused 64 KiB storage blocks were not always zeroed, leaving part of an old block readable after a new 4 KiB write. Cloudflare removed the setting, rebuilt affected storage and says it found no evidence of malicious exploitation. Customers do not need to change their configuration.
