@HamelHusain one of my favorite features for slicing down parallel work or doing investigation. Take a backlog of tasks and spray em out
@HamelHusain Yes!! This feature is really cool (although my recent use case is “my request blocked on other thread - let’s continue here” ) - it can even read Claude threads

I love how you can tell codex to fan out and create separate threads for a given task. Absolutely underrated feature. You can also tag another thread by name from any other thread. Its the easiest way to achieve orchestration
@HamelHusain in these case im not sure they merit the top level thread namespace vs being subagents, i think not overdictating structure is part of the bitter lesson
@swyx Yeah I wanted to learn what it was doing at each step instead of hidden subagents for my benefit
