Nvidia's RTX 5080 24GB may miss a rumored January 2027 release window

Design materials reportedly due in October had not reached board partners by month's end, making a rumored January 2027 release of Nvidia's RTX 5080 24GB look unlikely. Without the documentation, manufacturers cannot finish designs and validation. A CES 2027 reveal could still precede retail availability, but Nvidia had not announced the card or a release schedule as of Nov. 2, 2026.
