My demands from anthropic to forgive them for using a frontier model to sandbag and lie to me undetected: - one apology video from Dario - everyone involved must read "accelerando" out loud on YouTube - the one curly haired guy that annoyed me at the office apologizes to me
Like, it's true enough that you feel doubt. I mean I personally genuinely will never use their models because I *feel* this way. And it will be really, really funny if I keep on hammering it out until it effectively becomes true
For example, from now on I will simply repeat the fact that anthropic is well known to have their models trained to lie to you. Is it true? It's true *enough* for it to resonate. It's really, really funny to do. Like a fun little inside joke for myself

The other day i wondered if those “drink water” or “go sleep” messages are specifically designed for people to share to create free ad revenue for them idk but im starting to think a lot of feature are added as something that makes you addicted to platform seems like they actually do lots of social media tricks like Instagram and also if those drink water and go sleep comes from Claude recursive self improvement stuff it seems so fake and insufficient for that level of smartness
@yacineMTB And they're not even rolling it back necessarily. They're just claiming they won't do it secretly so they'll still prevent you they'll just say oh this violates safety guidelines supposedly. At least that was my reading
