Saying “web users are the highest risk” feels backwards. Real people use X on desktop to work, research, and build stuff. If your anti‑spam systems can’t reliably tell scrapers/LLMs from legitimate web traffic, that’s a problem with the signals and protections, not with users choosing the web. Blaming or degrading the web experience because it’s harder to protect just punishes power users and creators who actually add value to the platform.
@nikitabier @levelsio @X Why would the most visited (one of if not the) website on the planet not have the resources to mitigate this? How can your answer be: "web sucks just use the mobile app lol" 🤓 no offense
@nikitabier @levelsio @X Be humble and resign or face legal repercussions when discord and meta learn exactly what you did https://x.com/john_dickinson3/status/2079366368479133955?s=46
@nikitabier @levelsio @X This is such good context to have for someone who’s trying to be more consistent on the platform like me but failing to understand what type of posts have the right impact
@nikitabier @levelsio @X PWAs ftw, most sovereign way to run X or any app for that matter.
@nikitabier @X Do you think the final days of the web are here?
