Assistant professor shares reaction to CCN'26 presentation from Martin's group.
Aran Nayebi, Assistant Professor in Carnegie Mellon’s Machine Learning Department and leader of the NeuroAgents Lab, posted praise for research presented at CCN'26. The work came from Martin's group and focused on NeuroAI applications to cure brain diseases. Nayebi stated he was blown away by the opportunity and found it far more impactful than debates over explainability versus prediction in the field. He added that predictive models are useful and also allow explanations.
