PCMag gives Oupes Guardian 6000 V2 an Excellent rating for affordable whole-home backup features

PCMag has published a review of the Oupes Guardian 6000 V2 Portable Power Station, giving it a 4.0 “Excellent” rating and framing it as a strong-value option for serious home backup. The review highlights a 6,000W inverter, native 120V and 240V split-phase output from a single unit, a 4.6kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, and expansion support that can take total capacity past 41kWh. PCMag also points to V2-specific upgrades including dual independent MPPT solar inputs, up to 4,200W of solar acceptance, about 3,600W total charging power, and over-the-air firmware updates. Drawbacks noted in the review include 70W-plus standby power use, no 240V output while AC charging, less-polished software, and bulky expansion battery connections.
