Positive users praise the Vision Pro travel case for its unique quality and protection while negative users call Apple's discontinuation disappointing and dismiss the product as overpriced or a waste.
Seriously though it’s a really solid case but overpriced. But the third party options are better and cheaper. They probably made a limited number of cases and ran low and there’s no reason to make more.

@markgurman When I was shopping for my used AVP M2 in January, it was pretty much understood the Apple OEM storage case would be included for free. This all said I kind of wish I had a better/bigger case in to also hold the charger, extra battery, and extra seals and straps

@markgurman I use an old $20 Oculus Go case for the headset and throw the battery in my backpack. Uses a fraction of the space and also fits in the backpack vs Apple's case which wouldn't fit in my backpack.
