Plus, Cuomo banned fracking, so we buy it mostly from PA and Canada at much higher prices. We are also destroying our farmland with foreign purchased solar panels that don’t work or make sense, along with windmills that are rarely on and can’t power our needs. Our energy costs are 70% higher than the national average, and that America-hating nitwit that just won her primary in NYC wants to ban fossil fuels. Activists are completely destroying this state and setting people up to freeze to death in our winters, that strangely seem unaffected by climate change. 🙄

We used to get these "please use less energy" messages in summer and winter in Ohio. American Electric Power does most of the state, and never upgraded infrastructure. My power costs less in Florida, and they upgraded the power lines in my neighborhood 3 years ago. They never ask this.

@anothercohen Are you being serious right now? Texas has literal blackouts every summer. Meanwhile, California, which Republicans scream and lie about all the time, hasn’t had an energy supply related blackout in 23 years.

@dwr So, what was the reason when Adams, Bloomberg and Giuliani asked the same in a heat wave? What about when Greg Abbott asked same in Texas? How about when Nikki Haley asked the same in South Carolina?
