@signulll Apple has years where they just fully focus on quality and halt new featrues. This years was probably one of them.

@rjonesy @signulll It has been reported that Apple is a huge Claude shop with a bunch of custom tooling built around Claude. And Apple is 100% a member of Project Glasswing.
And these fixes are 100% the types of fixes that AI/Mythos is suited for.

@signulll I highly highly doubt that was more than 10% of the reason. These fixes are not those type of bugs. It’s just prioritization.

Worth pinning a number to this: Apple's codebase is ~30M lines of Objective-C/Swift. Even a 10% reduction in tech debt through AI-assisted cleanup is 3M lines of refactored code that never would have been touched manually. The quality floor just got raised across the board. Users feel it. That's the silent revolution — not new features, but old code finally getting fixed.
