"Europe 2031 had a lot of stuff about the US restricting the deployment and export of its frontier models, which are projected to happen sometime in the distant future. It actually happened for the first time, like, one day after the essay was released."

"In my positive scenario, this is a sign to the rest of the world that the US could do these things, and such that they should take this seriously, should create leverage, should create a stronger AI industry."

"I hope that we find a way to stabilize this situation, give the rest of the world access again to Mythos and Fable, but still make it clear to the rest of the world that this can happen."
