Levelsio Plans Switch from Claude to xAI
Founder cites token limits and trust issues after running sites on the service.
Pieter Levels posted that he will not use SnekAI and will probably switch his sites to xAI. He already runs all his sites on xAI and trusts the company because it does not lie all the time. In a separate reply, Thariq, an engineer on the Claude Code team at Anthropic, stated that the Fable launch brought more users and higher token use than expected. This made compute needs difficult to forecast, which is why the rollout happened gradually.
I won't use SnekAI but I'll probably switch to @xAI soon I already run all my sites on them and I trust them as they don't lie all the time

TH Thariq@trq212@levelsio yeah feedback heard on the communication, we're definitely trying to be more transparent on this re-usage that is surprising, we're not seeing big increases in number of people who hit limits, I'll follow up in DMs
