'White Hat' Liquid Network Crypto Hackers Are Now Grandstanding and Demanding a 10% Bounty

🚨 UPDATE: @Blockstream says it will not pay a #ransom for the return of funds stolen from the @Liquid_BTC , calling the theft “a crime, not responsible disclosure” and saying it is “not white-hat activity.”

Blockstream rejected the Liquid attacker’s bounty demand after 3,400 BTC was returned. About 600 BTC remains withheld. Adam Back says L-BTC will regain full backing, but funding details and a redemption restart date remain undisclosed.
