ZDNET reports that iOS 27 has launched with a Siri AI beta and 120 security patches. Mint describes the redesigned assistant as able to hold longer conversations, understand what’s on screen and search personal content such as emails, messages and photos for answers. Access isn’t automatic: iPhone in Canada says updating to iOS 27 does not activate Siri AI, and Canadian users must join an official waitlist. The security updates extend beyond the iPhone. SecurityWeek reports that the iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate 27 releases patch 200 vulnerabilities, including kernel flaws that could lead to memory corruption, privilege escalation, system termination and information leaks.
