DJI Launches ROMO 2 Robot Vacuums With Privacy Mode

The Verge reported that DJI introduced a new robovac lineup able to climb obstacles and vacuum quietly while using Local Data Mode to address earlier security concerns. Engadget described the ROMO 2 models as including LiDAR-enabled mopping arms and better obstacle avoidance. Both outlets noted the emphasis on keeping data processing on the device. The coverage presents these features as the company's response to prior privacy issues with the original Romo vacuum.
