DPS to Limit Flock Database Access After Inquiry

The Texas Tribune reports that law enforcement agencies from across the country search the Texas Department of Public Safety Flock database once every four seconds on average. After the Tribune inquired about the activity, DPS stated it will limit which agencies can access the network. The department plans to continue using its surveillance system following an order from Governor Abbott on Flock cameras.
