Fable generated and executed the necessary commands across transcription, FFmpeg processing, a Figma MCP server, and Remotion UI creation to deliver the finished clip on its own.
The model lands in consumer plans at no extra cost through June 22 before moving to usage credits, while API pricing sits at roughly double prior Opus rates with heavy caching discounts available.
Users praise Fable AI autonomously editing its own launch video via code and tools for its strong remotion skills, humor, and sound design, while a few dismiss the demo as unconvincing or flawed in color grading.

big model smell for audio-visual assets is like more frontier than websites etc.

@vxnuaj I'm not entirely sure how useful it is vs showing you the prompts I use, every video is a bit different and CC can just prompt the right scaffolding for it
but have been talking with @delba_oliveira who also edits videos with AI if there's something generic we can share
@chrislakin like this screen recording + deck? the deck probably took an hour asking Claude to generate it by looking at my transcripts and the screen recording took like 10 minutes
