Google launches Playground, an experimental no-code game creation platform

Google introduced Playground on October 7, 2026, as an experimental browser-based platform for making games with text prompts and no coding. Users can play others’ games, share links or publish to a gallery; select genres support multiplayer. Google says it launched for U.S. users 18 and older, with tiered creation access rolling out based on Google One membership. A Unity Spark integration is planned.
